Gaga made her debut on the scene in 2009 when she released her smash single "Just dance". Gaga was suffering from a tear in the labrum on her right hip. she was nursing in secret for several weeks with the hopes that she would be able to carry on the tour. She was unable to walk after a show in Toronto and was suffering from severe discomfort. The tour was cut short.
