Alison Doody
Alison Doody, born in Dublin 1966, was the daughter of a wealthy family. She is the youngest of three children. At a convent, she developed an obsession with arts. She later studied at in the National College of Fine Arts in Dublin in Ireland, but quit because she lacked the motivation and thought she would spend a year away to think about it. As she was sitting with friends at a cafe, a photographer approached and requested if she'd like to be a model. In the hopes that she would earn some extra cash from this, she jumped at the chance. Modelling was both fun and lucrative, and quickly she was modeling professionally. She could travel the world with her commercial ventures after completing modeling contracts. The casting director saw the work she was modeling and encouraged her to try acting. After she turned 19 a casting director sent her to London which she landed an audition to be a part of A View to a Kill the newest James Bond film. Acting was a passion for her so she chose to work as an actor. The first film she appeared in was followed by a few of TV dramas that were shot in London as well as Dublin. However, her breakthrough came in 1989 when she portrayed her role as the Aryan Seductress, Dr. Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
